Join Annie Matan on Friday mornings to celebrate Shabbat, family and community.
Shabbat Groove is a spacious, playful and meaningful hour where children ages 0-4 and their grownups can connect through songs, stories, movement and rest. Our community proudly includes all kinds of families: LGBTQ+, interfaith, Jewish, Jew-ish and those of other backgrounds who are curious about Shabbat and seeking community. We welcome participants of all abilities. Children bring the grownups who love them: their caregivers, parents, grandparents, and friends. Co-presented with PJ Library.

MNjcc’s Shabbat Together is a monthly series emphasizing positive, accessible and meaningful Shabbat experiences for the downtown Jewish community. Each Shabbat Together offers participatory services, blessings, dinner and interactive activities.
No Shush Shabbats serve families and individuals who have felt ‘shushed’ out of Jewish communal spaces or who have not been able to enjoy them due to a lack of accessibility. These are family-friendly, inclusive, participatory, energetic and noisy by design!
LGBTQ+ Ally Shabbats provide a welcoming space for those who identify as part of the wider Jewish LGBTQ+ community to connect in a meaningful, inclusive way during Shabbat.
Community Shabbats welcome those in the Jewish community who may experience financial or other barriers to celebrating or observing Shabbat.
