Cathy Indig, Director of Early Childhood Education

Cathy has been working at the Miles Nadal JCC since 2005 as Director of Early Childhood Education. She holds certification in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Adult Education. She has been married for 30 years.

Andria Weiss, Supervisor, Libbie Cowan Childcare Centre

Andria has been the Supervisor of The Libbie Cowan Childcare Centre since our opening in April 2010. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for almost 20 years, teaching nursery school, running toddler programs and instructing ECE courses at Seneca College.

Emilie Leckie, Coordinator, Preschool Programs and Camps

Emilie has been with the MNjcc for more than two years as Mini-Me Camp Coordinator and in other capacities. She coordinates our many preschool enrichment classes as well as all of our summer camp offerings.

Alisha Sandy, Coordinator, After School Program and School's Out!

Born and raised in Toronto, Alisha coordinates our programs for school-age children: the After School program, School's Out (for PA Days!) and the Winter and March Break Camps. She loves developing programs for children ages 5 to 11 years old. In her spare time, she loves to bake ­­— especially New York style cheesecake.

Gretchen Paxson-Abberger, Artistic Director, Suzuki Program

Gretchen has an undergraduate degree in Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, a Masters degree from the Mannes College of Music and Suzuki Teacher Training from the School for Strings. She has been both a violin teacher and Artistic Director of the Miles Nadal JCC Suzuki Program since 1994.

Maria Bui, Babysitting Coordinator

A child at heart, Maria loves to clown around with kids, professionally and in her free time. Maria also runs a small record label, Fuzzy Logic Recs, and organizes and promotes live music events and weekly baseball games.
