Access

wheelchair-access-logo

The MNjcc is a fully accessible facility, with wheelchair access to all floors including the Phil Granovsky Fitness Centre, the Freddie Shore Aquatic Centre and the Al Green Theatre. This is due, in part, to a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. All washroom areas also have designated accessible facilities.

Privacy

The MNjcc protects personal information by following responsible information handling practices in keeping with privacy laws. We do not sell, rent or trade our mailing lists. If you do not wish to receive mailings, please contact us at x 175. If you have issues concerning privacy, please call x 116.

Assistance Program

The MNjcc offers assistance, through our partnership with United Way, for individuals in financial need. In addition to subsidies for general memberships, this program may also extend to camps and youth programs. Application forms are available at both the MNjcc Information and Fitness Desks. For more information, contact Bernice Manalo x 231 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Refunds

Program Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds or credits are available if a program registrant withdraws one week prior to program/class start, with a $25 cancellation fee; some exceptions apply. The MNjcc is not responsible for classes missed due to illness or personal emergencies. The MNjcc cannot retroactively refund the difference between Member and Non-member prices.

Code of Conduct

The MNjcc provides a tolerant environment for all people using and working at our JCC. The Board and management of the MNjcc expect all persons to behave in a manner consistent with this policy while using or working at our JCC. The laws of the Province of Ontario (including the Human Rights Code) apply to how the MNjcc conducts its programs and services and equally apply to how staff and Members behave while using MNjcc facilities.

The MNjcc reserves the right to suspend Membership privileges, without refund, of any Member*, or to remove from the premises any Member, who:

  • Aids or abets in the unauthorized entrance of a Non-member
  • Is physically or verbally abusive to any Member or MNjcc staff
  • Knowingly disregards any MNjcc rule or regulation
  • Deliberately causes damage to any MNjcc property
  • Uses profanity while on the premises

Please report a breach of any of these rules immediately to MNjcc staff.
