    Mega Hoops is an inclusive children's basketball program in collaboration with the Ontario Basketball Association. OBA-certified instructors will teach physical literacy, fundamental movement and basketball skills in a supportive environment, guided by Canadian Sport for Life principles. Kids will also try Wheelchair-basketball with the Wheelchair Sports Association.

    Two barbells, a pair of sneakers, an apple and a stethoscope START HERE is a free comprehensive wellness program designed to provide adults with peer support, community engagement, access to specialty classes, and opportunities for learning and recovery. A variety of events, workshops and programs are available for your needs and interests (space permitted). Approved applicants will be given a START HERE Pass* that must be presented at every visit.

    *Please note that your START HERE Pass does not grant full access to the fitness facility.

    Become a tourist in your own city!

    Walk the Line provides the opportunity for weekly physical activity and socialization. Each walk will begin along the subway line and will finish with a coffee social. This program is free for everyone and a cup of coffee will be provided.

    Swimming instructor and young student in waterOur private swim lessons are designed to improve swimming abilities through one-on-one instruction. Students of all ages have experienced success and expedited learning through private lessons.

    Semi and Group Private Lessons

    In addition to one-on-one private lessons, we provide semi-private and group private lessons. Semi-private lessons have a 1:2 students to instructor ratio and group private lessons have a 1:3 or 4 students to instructor ratio. The Aquatics department at Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre does not match up participants for semi and group private lessons.
