Adult Beginner Ukulele

    Wednesdays, October 10 - December 12, 2018
    10:00 am - 12:00 pm

If you are looking for an instrument that is portable and easy to play, and as well for a group of people to play and sing your favourite songs with, then this is the course for you! This class will guide you, from the very beginning, through the essential techniques needed to make music on this wonderful instrument, including: how to hold a ukulele, tuning, strumming, chords, reading TAB, finger picking, and learning to play in an ensemble. You will play songs from the very first class, and have a lot of FUN along the way.

Participants will need their own soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele.  The class will use the method book:  Essential Elements for Ukulele, (Hal Leonard) as well as supplementary materials provided by the instructor.
