    Asher Farber, Conductor

    Asher is a freelance pianist, collaborator and teacher. Originally from Ottawa, he is now primarily located in Toronto. He completed his Masters of Music in Collaborative Piano Performance at the University of Toronto in April 2014 with Steven Philcox. He also has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Ottawa, where he graduated in 2011 Magna Cum Laude. Asher began working with the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Center in the fall of 2014 as the accompanist of the Daytime Choir. He is now the conductor of the Daytime Choir and the accompanist for the MNjcc evening Community Choir with Mark Ramsay. Asher also plays piano for Eurhythmy classes at Waldorf Academy for grades two to eight, inspiring young minds to respond to music with coordinated expressive movement.

    Clive Walton, Accompanist

    Clive’s formal studies began whilst he was a chorister at Chelmsford Cathedral(Essex, England)winning a scholarship to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London, England) at age 11. After graduating the Associate course in both singing and piano he has worked mainly in theatre as a singer, pianist and actor, including chorus member Rossini Opera Festival (Pesaro, Italy), ‘Show-Boat”(Opera North) ,Bitter-Sweet(New Sadler’s Wells Opera) ‘She Loves Me’ (Savoy Theatre), ‘Camelot’(Liverpool Playhouse), ‘Amadeus’ (Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich) June Moon (Vaudiville). Singer on BBC radio 2 and various recordings in London. Since coming to Canada in 2003,appeared in theatre- Private Lives(Theatre New Brunswick), Souvenir( Gravesend Opera House), Frost/Nixen (Neptune, Halifax) Sherlock Homes( Grand, London, Ont). Also worked extensively on TV, Film and radio and motion capture formats. Accompanist at the Miles Nadal JCC, and Prosserman Centres, Arts Educational Schools, six seasons with Opera For All.
