JCARES
JCares is a new initiative rooted in Jewish values of repairing the world, caring for one another and making a local impact. This social action project aims to address Toronto's issues through MNjcc service programs that support local communities affected by poverty. If you visit the JCafé in our lobby, you'll notice white bins marked with the JCares logo, inviting you to donate various items.

Currently, we're collecting warm winter clothing, including coats, gloves, toques, etc. You can donate gently used or new items, purchase items directly from our Amazon wishlist, visit dollar stores, etc.
When we began this initiative in the summer of 2024, we partnered with Ve'ahavta to distribute thousands of hygiene items donated by so many of you; thank you for your generosity! Check out our TikTok page to watch some of the unboxing videos!
