Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Database Management & Administration
Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM (eTapestry, Amelia, Sage)
Process and issue tax receipts, acknowledgments, and donor correspondence.
Generate reports and support data analysis for fundraising campaigns.
Donor Stewardship
Assist in the execution of stewardship strategies for individual donors.
Assist in the leadership of all annual donor stewardship events and activities, including event logistics and participant coordination.
Coordinates thank-you calls, cards, recognition lists, and gift acknowledgements.
Proactively acknowledge and steward partners and donors of the MNjcc
Individual Giving Program
Support annual giving campaigns including donor segmentation, mailings, and reporting.
Track year-over-year individual giving results and maintaining donor pipeline for optimal mover management.
Coordinate with marketing on all donor communications.
Team Support
Support events and initiatives led by the development team.
Support development team initiatives to be present in the Community, including the UJA Walk for Israel, and other major events engaging the Jewish community in Toronto.
Produce occasional donor research profiles, including the tracking of all major supporters of the MNjcc.
Coordinate internal processes to support major gift and legacy giving portfolios.
Assists in the maintenance of Board reporting tools.
Assist CDMO, on occasion, with scheduling and meeting materials.
Qualifications
1–2 years’ experience in a nonprofit development role or a relevant administration role.
Experience with CRM databases and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and writing skills.
High level of discretion and attention to detail.
Commitment to the mission and values of the MNjcc.
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience.

Position Summary
The Development Coordinator supports the operations and administration of the MNjcc’s Development team. This role is essential to ensure smooth donor stewardship, tax receipting, database integrity, and donor communications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about the work of the JCC.
This is a contract position covering an 18-month parental leave.
