External Bookings Coordinator

About this Role


  • This is a 37.5 hour per week job (7.5 hours per day), primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility to schedule that time between 7am and 7pm. Alternative scheduling of hours outside of that may be needed for client relations for larger events (2-3 times per year)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key point of contact for new and existing external rental contacts.

  • Coordinating requirements and information between clients and other functional areas.

  • Enter requirements into CRM.

  • Creating and taking payments for invoices.

  • Provide excellent customer service when representing the Miles Nadal JCC.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • Good organizational skills including the ability to work independently and set priorities.

  • Ability to problem solve under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

  • Previous experience with a CRM is required, experience with EventPro is an asset.

  • Previous sales experience or account management is an asset.

  • Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to accurately interpret and summarize information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Candidates must be able to legally work in Canada.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range - $38,000 - $41,000

  • Paid time off including a tiered vacation plan, sick days, as well as some Jewish holidays.

The coordinator of external bookings is the key point of contact for our external renters, including the co-located Jewish day school. They will work with other members of the information department and booking operations to ensure that multi-use space within the MNjcc, when not used by internal programs, is rented to the community to provide additional revenue to the Miles Nadal JCC.
