Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships
Identify and secure sponsorships up to $25,000 for MNjcc programming, events, recreation programs, and the Al Green Theatre season.
Develop customized sponsorship proposals and pitch decks, with the support of internal resources.
Stewardship of existing sponsors and community partners to ensure engagement and renewal.
Grant Writing & Management
Research, write, and submit grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government bodies for all support up to $20,000.
Manage deadlines, reporting requirements, and grant compliance for all grants in the Manager portfolio.
Track and analyze grant performance and maintain records.
Relationship Management
Build and deepen relationships with corporate, institutional, and community stakeholders.
Develop ways to interact with and engage the MNjcc community, introducing members to the culture of philanthropy at the MNjcc.
Ensure alignment of partner goals with MNjcc’s strategic objectives and values.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Work closely with program teams to understand funding needs in order to create opportunities for partners to become involved in MNjcc initiatives.
Liaise with Marketing and Programming staff to activate partnerships and recognize sponsors.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sponsorships, partnerships, grant writing, or fundraising.
Understanding and cultural competency of the Jewish culture in general and of the Jewish Community in Toronto.
Proven success in securing and stewarding sponsorships or partnership-based support in the amounts of $10,000k+
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with CRM donor databases (an asset).
Creative, relationship-focused, and strategic in approach.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience.

Position Summary
The Manager, Partnership Development will play a key role in advancing the MNjcc’s mission through the acquisition and stewardship of corporate and institutional partners. This position is responsible for securing sponsorships for MNjcc programs and events, managing corporate relationships, and overseeing the grant writing and reporting process.
