The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNjcc) is a dynamic hub in downtown Toronto. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, learn, connect and participate in a wide range of cultural experiences. Rooted in Jewish values, the MNjcc is open to all.

    The MNjcc is home to a 3,800 member state-of-the-art Fitness Centre, the Al Green Theatre, four schools, three choirs, a wide range of arts and cultural activities, Jewish Life programming, and a robust Seniors' program. It is a founding member of the Bloor Street Cultural Corridor, and the lead organizer of the annual Annex Family Festival.

The Miles Nadal JCC After School Program provides age-appropriate, stimulating and safe activities for school-age children.     Short Description of the Position:

    The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre is seeking an experienced Senior Camp staff for its summer camp for children aged 5-7 years old.  Be a part of this dynamic camp where you will have the opportunity to grow with the children. Primary responsibilities include observing children and implementing a stimulating program for the children and open communication with parents.
    Camp dates and times are Monday- Friday from June 24- August 16; 8 hours/day. Staff will have to attend pre-camp training starting on June 3rd.

    Summer Contract - Starts June 3, 2019 - Reports to Manager of Camps

    Starts June 10, 2019-Reports to Manager of After School Program and Camps

     

    Short Description of the Position:

    Primary responsibilities engaging children and implementing a stimulating program for the children and open communication with parents.

    Adventure Camp age 5-7: Monday- Friday from June 24- August 16; 8 hours/day.

    Mini Me Camp age 3-4: Monday- Friday from June 24- August 16; 8 hours/day.

    Will need to be available for pre-camp training starting June 10; 8 hours/day.

    Reports to Director of Guest Services

    The MNjcc Guest Services team is looking for friendly and outgoing part-time Customer Service Reps.  Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be computer literate and have availability on weekends.  Cash handling experience and flexibility to stay on staff beyond summer months is preferred. 

    Monday to Friday year round

    Reports to Director of Children’s Education

    Reports to the Director of Development

     

    Purpose:

    Are you motivated and passionate about having an impact in the community? Are you looking to apply and expand your skills to further develop your career in fundraising? Join the MNjcc as the Development Coordinator and play a vital role in growing annual giving programs, including campaign coordination, donor communication and special events. This role will help strengthen and foster donor relations with a focus on acquiring and stewarding individual donors. Working with the MNjcc team, the Development Coordinator will also help to create compelling communications activities through our online and digital platforms to engage our stakeholder audiences, share our impact, and grow their commitment to the organization. Supported by the Director of Development, this multifaceted position is a great opportunity for a dynamic, organized individual who enjoys a team-oriented environment.
