A 10-week creative writing workshop at the Miles Nadal JCC, facilitated by award-winning poet, writer, and creative writing coach, Benjamin Hackman.

This ten-week workshop is intended for emerging poets interested in better developing their craft. Students can expect to become familiar with many of the fundamental techniques of writing poetry. They can also expect to complete two to five meaningful drafts of poems and two to five substantial revisions. Through lively class discussion, Benjamin’s expertise, and the feedback and critique of their fellow classmates, students will learn to identify and repair weaknesses in their own works of poetry and become more confident in their craft as writers.
