FREE ASSESSMENTS

All Fitness Members receive a free 60-minute fitness assessment with a personal trainer. This one-on-one session is structured like an initial personal training assessment where you will receive an individualized fitness evaluation. We encourage all our members to book their free assessment so they can use the facilities with confidence, knowledge, safety, and support.

Getting started and navigating all the equipment in our fitness centre can be overwhelming. Members can book a free 60-minute instruction session, offering guidance on using our strength machines.  Each session will have a maximum of five people. Participants must register in advance. 

The session will include: 

  • An explanation and outline of which muscles every machine targets. 

  • Instructions on how to use the machines safely and how to adjust settings to suit your needs. 

  • Learning how to choose the appropriate weight and structure repetitions and breaks. 

  • Incorporating strength machines into your workout. 

  • An opportunity to ask the personal trainer general questions about your training program.

MNjcc’s Small Group Personal Training program is a cost-effective way to experience the effects of personal training. This program is perfect for people seeking expertise and motivation from a Personal Trainer. These programs run for 10 weeks and have only 3-5 people. The best part? These programs are open to the public; you don't have to be a member to register!
