FAQ

What is your cancellation policy?

1. Registration is cancellable for a REFUND of 90% of fees until ONE MONTH before the beginning of that week of camp.

2. Between ONE MONTH and 2 WEEKS before each week of camp, the cancellation will result in a CREDIT of 90% of fees.

3. If cancelling less than 2 WEEKS before the week of camp NO REFUND OR CREDIT will be given.

 

Can I get a refund if my camper misses any days due to illness?

We are unable to offer any refunds or credits for any missed classes due to illnesses.

 

Whom do I contact if I am running late?

In the event that you will be late for pick up, we ask that you contact your camper's homeroom directly. This contact information will be given to families prior to the first day of camp. If you are unable to reach the staff in your camper's unit, please call Alisha Sandy 416 924 6211 x 6620

 

What if someone needs to pick up my child who is not on the authorized list?

Please indicate anyone who will be picking your child up on your Emergency Contact list. If you need to add/remove an authorized pickup person please send our Manager of Camps an e-mail with the person's full name. We require that anyone picking up a camper show government-issued photo identification

 

Do I need to pack lunch and snacks?

Yes! Please make sure to pack a lunch and morning/afternoon snack each day.

Note: We have severe allergies at camp. As such, JCamp is a nut and sesame-free facility!

 

What else should I pack?

Each day, please pack:

  • Outdoor gear (weather appropriate: toque, gloves, snow pants, boots, sun hat, etc.)

  • Indoor shoes

  • Nut and Sesame free lunch and morning snack

  • Water bottle

  • Extra clothes (in case)

  • Bathing suit and towel (on applicable days, please see calendar)

 

How does JCamp go on field trips?

For any field trips that are not within walking distance, our campers will use public transit. We have specific guidelines set out for staff to ensure that all field trips are conducted with the utmost concern for camper safety.  

 

What should I know about parking?

Prior to each camp week, a welcome email will be sent out to enrolled families with a parking pass attached. We offer 15-minute parking at the beginning and end of camp in the parking lot located behind our facility (Metro grocery store).

 

We are also conveniently located directly across from Spadina subway station.
